Shameless Plugs

I thought I wouldn’t post today. Really nothing new to report and I’m not feeling too creative this morning. Then I thought I should share a couple of things.

First, I want to tell you about the book Donna published this week. She’s wants to get as many copies out as soon as possible and is promoting the book through a free offer. You can download the book for free today through Sunday only.

I also want to share a few of Mark Fagan’s photos. You can view more of his work at this site or read about Emily and Mark’s adventures here. Click on Mark’s photos below to enlarge.

You can see the cloud cover that moved in yesterday in the photo above. It was still warm though and the clouds held the warmth overnight. It’s cloudy this morning and I’m hearing rumors of rain in the forecast for tomorrow! This might dampen my plan to pack the trailer tomorrow in advance of our move to Usery Regional Park on Sunday. I want to get into the park and be set up before the Superbowl starts.

I listened to Donna’s broadcast in the week and ordered the free download. It was strange seeing her in person, as I feel I know you both through your blog and I live in England UK miles away! Keep blogging..

I have been reading your blog since you started. We are also fulltimers. We live in Buckeye, AZ. I read that you came through here and stayed at the Walmart here in town. We live in Leaf Verde RV Resort just down the street from Walmart. I downloaded Donna’s book. Thank her very much. I have subcribed to her newsletter for years. I have learned a lot. Yes it is quite a challenge to organize a motorhome. But it can be done. You just have to do with less. My husband was hurt in ’97 and since then nothing is more important then being together and doing what we love – travel. Thank you again for your entertaining thoughts.

We do travel occasionally. But for right now we are taking care of our grandkids. I take them to school and pick them up each day. In the summer we do some traveling and used to take the motorhome to the NASCAR races here in Avondale but it got too expensive. So we just drive there. But the other grandmother is retiring in another year and she will be helping out so we can go more often.
